Frankfurt 2009: Limited edition Wiesmann Roadster MF5

What you see above is the Roadster MF5 by Wiesmann, that is motivated by a BMW-sourced 5.0 liter V10 that can pump out 507HP and 520Nm of pulling power. Naught to 100 km/h takes 3.9 seconds and top speed is rated at 310 km/h. Only 55 units will be produced and each top-less unit comes with an extendable rear wing, apart from a finely tuned suspension setup. Wiesmann also revealed that each costs €189,500. Limited edition Wiesmann Roadster MF5 to be unveiled in Frankfurt

Wiesmann has announced that will be presenting the Roadster MF5 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, happening next month in Germany. Although details are scarce, we do know that the MF5 can hit 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and can deliver a top speed of 310 km/h. All these thanks to a BMW-sourced 5.0 liter V10 powerhouse, that has 507HP and 520Nm of torque at the touch of the accelerator.

It has a beautifully tuned suspension and comes with safety features like torsion-resistant aluminium monocoque with integrated side-impact protection, dual stage driver and passenger airbags, ABS, DSC and so on. The retro-styled Wiesmann Roadster MF5 can be yours for 189,500 Euros. If you willing to throw that amount of money, better be quick as only 55 units will be ever rolled out.


Wiesmann MF4 sticking to the walls of Geneva Motorshow

Wiesmann is a company that has been producing purist classically designed sportscars since 1988. You will most certainly always stand out with one in todays ultra-futuristics stylings of Japanese, Italian and German supercars.

But just because Wiesmann draws its stylings days we have forgotten expect engine performance to challenge the fastest of supercars. With an option of a 4.8 litre V8 engine with 367 hp, or the 4.0 litre V8 which delivers 420 hp that will be made available in the MF4-S.

Matted with the 420hp engine is the 7-speed double clutch system along with the standard manual and sport automatic will be made available. Expect to be pushed into the seat of the car with a pulling power of 400 Nm; the MF4-S will go from 0 to 100 in 4.4 secs creaming of at a top speed of 300kmph.

A stiff aluminium monocoque chassis with integrated side impact bars is the base of the Wiesmann, and it comes with safety features such as airbags, ABS and DSC as standard. Prices start from 128,000 Euro including tax for the MF4 and 137,900 Euro for the MF4-S.
