2011 BMW 5-Series M Sport: Leaked images!

This sportier F10 5-Series is shod with Munich’s M Sport package and as the title suggests, photos of it have been leaked ahead of its official unveiling. This comes as no surprise since a brochure of the 5-Series M Sport Touring found it’s way onto the Internet recently as well.
Typically this iteration of the 5er with the magic alphabet comes with aggressively-styled bumpers, side skirts and a boot lid spoiler. Just like previous times, there is also a dark rear diffuser, black window trim as well as chrome tail pipes.
The interior features a thick-rimmed three spoke steering wheel, an anthracite head liner, sport seats in fabric and alcantara as well as different trim (aluminum hexagon, standard for all models except for 550i). To all M fanatics out there, don’t worry there are plenty of M badging on the car too. The leaked images also contain an image of the wheel options available including an 18-inch multi spoke and a 19-inch double spoke. Continue reading to view an image gallery.

2011 BMW 5-Series M Sport: Leaked catalogue!

The all-new 5-Series was recently launched and it was followed by the unveiling of the touring variant. Keeping true to BMW’s tradition, the auto maker will soon unveil M Sport variants as well as the high-performance M model. What we have here is a leaked catalogue that depicts an M Sport touring model which is likely to share all of its M upgrades with the sedan as well.
The most visible upgrade would be the front bumper, which seems chunkier now thanks to large air ducts. Definitely more menacing. The M Sport package also includes different side skirts and a rear bumper which integrates a diffuser. Also part of the list are the black window trims, instead of chrome ones.

We can also notice new wheels, both 18 and 19-inch versions. The former has a multi-spoke design and can house 245/45 R18 tires while the latter features a double-spoke design and they can be shod with 245/40 R19 tires.
Interior wise, a thick-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel with black roof lining and sport seats make up most of the upgrades. There should also be a sports-tuned suspension as well. Continue reading to view more images.

What you see above is believed to be a leaked image that belong to the Mercedes CL in its latest guise. Apparently the image was accidentally leaked on Mercedes’ Dutch website and along with a leaked image of the standard CL, there is also another depicting the high performance AMG variant.
From the images we can see that the 2011 CL has a new front bumper, new headlights as well as LED fog lamps. The AMG version (pictured below) has a different grille, body kit and wheels. It also looks as though the headlights have been finished in dark design too.

The new CL is said to feature a new arrangement under its hood. There will be a 3.5 liter V6 BlueDIRECT with 301hp and 368Nm of torque while the CL550 will be motivated by a 429hp twin-turbo 4.6 liter V8 BlueDIRECT that can also produce 700Nm of torque.

2011 Volkswagen Jetta: Photos and details leaked ahead of reveal!

The all new Volkswagen Jetta sedan is scheduled for an online reveal later today but, again thanks to the beautiful world of the Internet, leaked images of the vehicle have surfaced! The images, which were released by AutoExpress reveal a simple yet sweet sedan. Although its not a high-end product, it kinda looks the part if you ask me.
Unlike the Volkswagen Polo sedan that was recently released, this Jetta features a much better rear end design. Overall its exterior design is heavily inspired by the company’s New Compact Coupe concept that was showcased in Detroit.

Despite its good looks, the 2011 Jetta does not have an interior that it can shout about. It looks quite similar to the outgoing model and it looks a little too simple. Expected to carry a base US$16,000 price tag, the new Jetta will be produced in Puebla, Mexico before it goes on sale in the US by October.
This new sedan sits on a modified platform that underpins the Golf Mk6. Compared to the outgoing model, the 2011 Jetta is longer by 3.5 inches which gives 2.6 inches more in terms of rear leg room. This bringing up total length to 182.7 inches while width and height remain the same. Volkswagen is expected to offer four different engine options including a 2.0 liter TDI. This diesel is likely to get a manual transmission while gasoline engines will get VW’s DSG twin-clutch gearbox. Continue reading to view an image of the interior.

Image of Opel Astra Sports Tourer leaked!

What you see above is believed to be a leaked image that depicts the Opel Astra Sports Tourer which is set to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show in October. It looks as though this image was taken during a dealer conference or something and it shows the rear right quarter of the sporty ‘estate’ that was inspired by the larger Insignia Sports Tourer.
We don’t have more information to share with you at the moment but you can safely expect the Sports Tourer to feature the same engines found in the Astra, such as a 180hp turbocharged 1.6 liter gasoline and a 160hp 2.0 liter diesel. Continue reading to check out a high-res version of the image.
