Roewe N1 Concept showcased in Shanghai

Chinese-based and SAIC-owned auto maker Roewe, is currently previewing the N1 Concept at the Auto Shanghai 2009 motor event. This concept is very much expected to go into production for the Chinese market as early as next year. The compact sedan would fit right below the Roewe 550 and is expected to be powered by a number of 4-cylinder powerplants.


Roewe N1 Concept to debut in Shanghai

Chinese-based auto maker, Roewe, has revealed that it will debut the N1 Concept at the upcoming motor show in Shanghai, China. Based on the sketch, the four door coupe seems to feature pretty nice design lines, with an aggressive and forward front end and large multi-spoke wheels.

As usual the auto maker did not reveal more information regarding the concept, but the motoring fraternity is speculating that the N1 is basically a Roewe version of the MG6 Concept car which is also set to be unveiled at the motor show. If this is true, the N1 would be based on the Roewe 550 and might feature a 4-cylinder 1.8 liter turbocharged motivator. Continue reading to view another image.
