2010 Geneva: Lexus CT 200h makes its debut

Lexus arrived at this year’s Geneva Motor Show with the CT 200h. The CT 200h is a hybrid hatchback and the company considers it the first full hybrid vehicle in the premium compact segment. The hybrid powertrain is made up by a 1.8 liter VVT-i gasoline engine and an electric motor.
Since its a full hybrid, the CT 200h is able run solely in electric power. Unfortunately its only for 2 kilometers at speeds of up to 45 km/h. But for 2 kilometers? Come on! The vehicle that is inspired by the LF-Ch Concept is about the size of Volkswagen Golf and production is expected to start late this year. An image gallery can be found after the jump.
