Geneva Preview: Lancia Delta Executive and Hardblack

Lancia will join the Geneva Motor Show with the unveiling of its Lancia Delta Executive as well as the previewing of the Lancia Delta Hardblack show car. According to the auto maker, the premium Delta Executive which features a rather spacious rear cabin receives power from a 200 HP 1.8 liter DiTurboJet power plant. Mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission, it can sprint to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, to a top speed of 230 km/h.

This fuel efficient engine features a consumption figure of 7.8 liters per 100 kilometers and produces 185 grams of emissions per kilometer. Other features which are offered with the Delta Executive include; electronic variable damping suspension, Diamond-edged alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and jet-back roof treatment atop the copper-toned body.

Positioned as a chauffeur-driven executive vehicle, it comes with semi-automatic Magic Parking system, which should function like the Park Assist system available on the Volkswagen Tiguan or the Skoda Superb which was recently launched in Singapore.

The Delta Hardblack on the other hand is a show car which features the similar, but up-rated 1.8 engine as the Delta Executive. This Hardback receives a sporty and aggressive treatment, with a matte Lava Black body colour on the inside, while Alcantara Starlite black finish on the inside.
