Hennessey’s 1200HP Venom GT Concept heading to Frankfurt

Hennessey Performance Engineering will go to this year’s motor show in Frankfurt, Germany with the Venom GT Concept, which is able to unleash a mind boggling 1200HP from a V8 motivator. According to Hennessey, the powerplant can catapult the Venom GT to 100 km/h from a stand still in just 2.4 seconds. There is more! With all that power, the Venom GT should be able to reach speeds of up to 440 km/h, which is about 22 km/h more than the Bugatti Veyron’s top speed figure. Hennessey also revealed that the concept super car can travel from naught to 323 km/h in just 14.3 seconds, imagine that!
We also know that the Venom has an estimated weight figure of 2,400 lbs (lighter than the Veryon) and has an extremely efficient aerodynamic design that can produce high levels of downforce. More information will be released once the concept is revealed at the motor show. Continue reading to view two more images. Read the rest of this entry.
