Chevrolet shows off the Camaro Convertible

Chevrolet has released initial images of the upcoming Camaro Convertible on the Camaro’s Facebook page. The topless Camaro will make its official debut at the LA Motor Show next week with sales slated to begin within the first quarter of 2011. The new variant comes with a fabric top and will be launched with two engine options.
They include a 312hp 3.6 liter direct injection V6 for the RS trim level and a 426hp 6.2 liter V8 for the top-of-the-line SS. The engines come standard with a 6-speed manual while a 6-speed automatic will be available as an option. Continue reading to view three more images.

We can’t wait for the new 2011 Camaro convertible to hit the showroom floor. I think not having a convertible version was a huge over site by Chevy for the 2010 version (seen here: http://www.chevy-camaro-2011.com ). This car will jump off the showroom floor in California and other warm states.
