Jeep Wrangler updated for 2011 model year

Jeep has released initial images and details about the 2011 Wrangler. The Chrysler-owned brand performed little work on the exterior, with updates limited to a new body-colour hard top for the Sahara model only. The company also introduced new body colours such as Detonator Yellow, Deep Cherry Red, Sahara Tan, Cosmos Blue and Bright White.

More updates have been carried inside with a redesigned instrument panel, a new lockable console, upgraded door armrests, as well as a modified centre stack which is said to be easier to operate and reach to. Heated power windows, larger rear windows, new steering controls, a new USB device interface plus Bluetooth connectivity also make up the update list.

It doesn’t end there. The revised Wrangler now sports 12-volt accessory outlets as well as a new 110-volt outlet. The production of the 2011 Jeep Wrangler kicked off earlier this week at the Toledo Assembly Complex in Ohio.
