Range topping Toyota Aygo Black revealed for the UK market

Toyota has announced a new top of the line Aygo for the UK market that will go on sale next month. Called the Aygo Black, it comes with additional Alcantara and leather upholstery, a leather-trimmed sports steering wheel, leather gear shift knob as well as 14-inch alloy wheels. The hatch is also treated to Tempest Black metallic exterior paint finish.

The Black model is available in both three-door and five-door forms and has a 1.0 liter VVT-i gasoline engine under the hood which gives the Aygo a fuel consumption figure of 62.8 miles to the gallon (with a 5-speed manual transmission). Prices start from £9,460 for the three-door Aygo Black.

Even being a range-topping model, air conditioning is still optional. Another optional feature is Toyota’s Multimode transmission. There is also a Protected pack that comes with rear parking sensors, carpet mats, front and rear mud flaps, additional side and rear protection moldings. This costs £390 while £245 will get you the Style pack that is made up by front fog lamps and aluminium scuff plates. More images can be found after the jump.
