Ford Switzerland reveals the Focus RS WRC Edition

What you see above is a special Ford Focus RS that is being rolled out to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Ford’s RS division, which started with the 1970 Ford Escort RS1600. What makes this model different is the fact that it was “co-designed” by Swiss fans via an online channel.
The end result is an RS that is finished in “Frozen White” along with contrasting black and green liveries. It sits on 19-inch OZ Superturismo GT alloys that are treated to a black finish. To help make it more unique, the RS WRC Edition also has a special plaque that carries signatures of Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen, Ford’s WRC drivers.
The upgrades are aesthetics only hence it retains the 300hp force inducted 2.5 liter 5-cylinder that enables the hot hatch to hit 100 km/h under 6 seconds and a top speed of 263 km/h. Only 50 units are planned for the Swiss market and each costs 55,900 francs. Look for an image gallery after the jump which also includes some designs that nearly made the cut.
