Peugeot reveals the 207 S16 for the UK market

Peugeot did very well in the 2009 Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) by securing the driver’s title with driver Kris Meeke and to help celebrate that achievement, Peugeot has launched a limited edition 207 called the S16. Only 250 units will be produced and its specifically for the UK market.

The S16 is based on the 207 Sport 1.6 VTi 3-door and has additional equipment and treatment that are worth over £1,200 collectively. These include Bianca White exterior body colour, 207 RC Cup bodykit (front and rear spoilers, side skirts and a pseudo rear diffuser), 17-inch Hockenheim alloy wheels, SP Sports mesh grille, dark tinted rear windows from the 207 GTi model and an interior badge signed by Kris Meeke.

If those aren’t enough, you can also add vinyl rally graphics which mimic those found on Kris Meeke’s IRC winning 207 S2000 rally car, free of charge. You can also optionally add leather interior, with black or silver Grey stitching.

On the road price is figured at £14,695 and its 1.6 liter engine can output 120hp which allows the S16 to hit 62 mph from a standstill in 10.7 seconds and a top speed of 125 mph. High-res versions of the images above are available after the jump.
