Toyota reveals the FT-86 Concept: Powered by Subaru-sourced 2.0 liter boxer engine

Toyota has revealed the FT-86 Concept that will be presented at this month’s motor show in Tokyo, Japan. The rear wheel drive sports concept is motivated by a Subaru-sourced naturally-aspirated, horizontally opposed 2.0 liter engine that is mounted up front and paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The engine in the concept that measures 4,160 mm long, 1,760 mm wide, and 1,260 mm high with a wheelbase of 2,570 mm, should be able to produce up to 200HP. Toyota also revealed that the 2+2 concept was created by Toyota’s France-based Europe Design Development and the auto maker is expected to release more details once it hits the stand in Tokyo.
