Next generation Nissan GTR rumored to arrive in 2013

Words are being exchanged that the next generation Nissan GTR will arrive by 2013, which is slightly more than three years away. Andy Palmer, Nissan’s Vice President of Global Product Planning revealed to his engineers and staff that the new GTR will go on as planned, despite the economy downturn. He also acknowledged that the upcoming model, which should be called R36, will maintain a V6 engine, but it is likely to produce more power (probably more than 500HP). The new model is also expected to feature an evolution of the current platform.
