Get your Porsche Panamera for S$ 408,888!

German-based sports car maker Porsche, has officially launched the Panamera 4-door Gran Turismo for the Singaporean market. All three Panamera variants are available in Singapore including the S, 4S and the range topping Turbo. All three are powered by a 4.8 liter V8 with Direct Injection that is capable of churning out 400HP, while thanks to a twin turbo system, the V8 in the Panamera Turbo can crank out 500HP.

The 1,779 kg S is able to travel from naught to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and can deliver a top speed of 283 km/h, when fitted with Porsche’s PDK dual clutch transmission (optional for S and 4S models, but standard for the Turbo), instead of the 6 speed manual. Fuel consumption is rated at 10.8 liters per 100 kilometers.

The all wheel drive 4S model sprints to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds and will continue till it reaches 282 km/h. This models consumes 11.1 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. The top of the line Panamera Turbo, which also features an wheel drive configuration does the 100 km/h mark in 4.2 seconds and will go all the way up to 303 km/h. With the extra boost of power, fuel consumption is slightly increased to 12.2 liters per 100 kilometers.

Other highlight features of the Panamera include the auto maker’s Auto Start Stop function which automatically switches off the engine when the car comes to a standstill, while the driver presses down the brake pedal. This feature can be selected with the PDK transmission.

There is also an adaptive air suspension system with additional air volume on demand as well as a complete cover on the under-floor that extends to the drivetrain tunnel and rear-end silencers that helps reduce both air resistance and lift forces on the axles, which can result to improved fuel economy. The Turbo model additionally features an active aerodynamic system with a 4-way adjustable rear spoiler.

Pricing wise, the Panamera S starts at S$408,888 while the Panamera 4S carries a S$438,888 price tag. The range topping Panamera Turbo can be yours, starting from S$535,888.
