UPDATE: Volvo has released official information about the C70 including powerplant details. Stay tuned!
Swedish auto maker Volvo, is heading to the Frankfurt Motor Show with the facelifted Volvo C70, and just before that, a few med-res images of the new convertible have been leaked onto the Internet. From the first look, you can notice the Volvo S60 Concept-inspired front end.
Although details are scarce, we do know that the new C70 features new taillights (with LED strips), a slightly re-styled rear bumper along with a more prominent Volvo lettering on the trunk lid, apart from a re-worked front end. We can’t notice changes on the interior with the single image of it.
The outgoing C70 is offered with three 5-cylinder engine options, including a 170PS 2.4i, a 220PS T5 as well as a 180PS 2.4 liter D5 turbo diesel. It is unclear at the moment if Volvo will maintain the engine range or update it. More will be revealed once the hard-top convertible hits the stand at the motor show. Meanwhile, continue reading to view a med-res image gallery.
