Tengzhong’s Hummer take-over: More details emerge

According to a Chinese online publication, Gasgoo, Tengzhong’s Hummer take-over is close, and apparently, certain details of the take-over from General Motors have been leaked. Tengzhong, a Chinese engineering company, will own the brand’s intellectual property rights and sales network and will continue to fund research and development. However, the production will be based in the US (Detroit or Nashville) and General Motors will still have a part in it, till 2012. Furthermore, the new owner will also be responsible of launching the new Hummer H3 and Hummer H4, which will be considered as a CUV (Cross Utility Vehicle).
