A couple of low-res spy images of the Hyundai iX35 were found bouncing around the Internet. The iX35 will go on to replace the Hyundai Tucson compact SUV, and is inspired by the ix-onic Concept that was shown at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
The iX35 (Hyundai may change the name) is underpinned by a platform that would also be used for the next generation Kia Sportage. The new compact SUV will be offered in both front wheel and all wheel drive forms. It should be offered with three engine options, including a 140HP 1.6 liter petrol, a 175HP 1.6 liter turbo as well as a 2.0 liter turbo diesel with a 184HP output figure.
