Subaru reveals the Legacy Touring Wagon in Japan

Japanese based auto maker Subaru has officially revealed the Legacy Touring Wagon in Japan, thus completing the new Legacy line up, which is also made up by the Legacy sedan and the Outback which were both revealed at the New York Auto Show recently.

With a roomier interior and a larger body, the all wheel drive Legacy Touring Wagon is offered with a number of engine choices including a normally aspirated SOHC 2.5 liter flat 4-cylinder 170HP with 230Nm of torque, a 2.5 liter turbocharged DOHC with 265HP and 350Nm of torque while the final spot is taken up by a 3.6 liter flat 6-cylinder that is able to crank out 256HP and 335Nm of torque.

There are also three transmission options available including Subaru’s Lineartronic CVT, an E-5AT automatic with improved downshift blipping control as well as a 6-speed manual tranny. All three Touring Wagon models also feature the SI-DRIVE which allows drivers to choose between three driving modes, including Intelligent, Sport and Sport Sharp.

More features include, among others, an electronic power steering system, electronic parking brake, electronic Hill Holder System, VDC (Vehicle Dynamics Control), radar based cruise control, GPS navigation, keyless entry with push button starting and automatic windshield wipers.
