More details emerge on the next Bentley Continental GT

Expected to arrive in 2011, the new Bentley Continental GT is expected to be lighter and more powerful than the outgoing model and that the new replacement version will share some components with the Audi A8. With its design lead by Dirk van Braeckel, the new model is expected to be yet another handsome looking car, with its front suspension carried over from the Audi A8.

Other features and upgrades should include a larger cabin space and an array of petrol-powered W12 motivators such as a 580HP version and a 650HP version. There would also be a 374HP diesel option. Transmission wise, all engines should be coupled with an 8 speed automatic.
