Official images of the Golf GTI Mk6 production version!

Volkswagen has revealed new fresh images of the upcoming GTI version of the VW Golf Mk6 hot hatch. Along with these images, the German auto maker revealed that the GTI will carry a 2.0 TSI power plant, but did not release performance figures. However, expect a figure between 200HP and 210HP for the new 3 door performance car.

When the GTI concept was previewed in September last year, it featured a 210HP 2.0 TSI engine which could propel the car to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds. Other features included an Adaptive Chassis Control and an electric LSD called the “XDS”. With the Adaptive Chassis Control, you can choose between comfort, normal and sport modes to remap steering settings, throttle response as well as adjust the pneumatic dampers.

Suspension wise it featured MacPherson struts up front front while a multi-link setup at the rear with tuned springs, dampers and anti-roll bars. We will bring you the latest updates as soon as we get more information from Volkswagen.
