New turbo upgrade by South Side Performance for Nissan GTR – increase horsepower to 820!
American based tuning company; South Side Performance has released a new turbo upgrade kit for the R35 Nissan GTR. The bolt on turbo kit includes the cost of machining each of the stock turbos and installation of an upgraded actuator, a 53.8 mm turbine wheel and a 68 mm high pressure billet aluminum compressor wheel which can produce up to 32 PSI of boost pressure.
The upgrade can result to increase in power at stock boost levels, which translates into a linear power band through out the entire rev range, from low engine speeds all the way up to the red line. According to the tuning company, a total of 820HP can be achieved, however only when the turbo kit is combined with other, undisclosed performance modifications.
The turbo kit features water-cooled Garrett ball-bearing turbos and is a direct bolt on kit. It requires only one line to be changed and can be installed with basic garage tools. The kit is available for U.S $ 6,499.00 at www.gt-rr.com with the condition that you trade-in your stock turbos.
