Track ready Pagani Zonda R unveiled in Vienna!

With a new replacement model for the Pagani Zonda due sometime next year, the Italian exotic car builder has unveiled the track ready Pagani Zonda R in Vienna. As mentioned in the press release; the target of the Zonda R is to offer purists “the ultimate performance car at the racetrack without any implications of rules, except for safety, where no compromise is allowed”.
Although from the looks of it, it looks just like the Zonda F, but according to Pagani, engineers carried over only 10% of the Zonda F’s components into the R variant. For purists, here is the breakdown:
Body & Interior.

The wheelbase has grown by 47 mm, the overall length by 394 mm and the track is increased by 50 mm. The new bodywork has been tuned to offer improved downforce even at low speed corners, which is also helped by an adjustable rear wing and a race derived diffuser.
On this inside, it features a Digitek instrumentation which provides essential information and a sophisticated telemetry system (with a variety of sensors) that allows the driver (or mechanics) to improve the car’s setup for track. The driver is also be treated to bespoke seats.
The Zonda R with central carbon chassis also features a roll cage, rubber racing fuel tank with four fuel pumps and a GT spec quick refuel filler, new suspension system and magnesium forged wheels with central wheel nuts. It even comes with a pneumatic lifting system which enables quick and effortless change of tires.
Engine.

The Zonda R is fitted with a dry sump Mercedes AMG V12 M120 power plant which exhales 750HP at 8000rpm and 710Nm of torque with a lightweight carbon fiber high performance intake system, a racing multiple disc sintered clutch and a Formula 1 style exhaust system, hydroformed in Inconel 625 and ceramic coated for optimal heat dissipation.
The engine is mated to a 6 speed transverse manual sequential synchronised transmission. Pagani also assures that even though the Zonda R is built for the track, the finish quality of the track monster lives up to the Italian maker’s high standards.

i think they can create a “pagani zonda r” racing series, you know, for people with “lots and lots and lots” of money
but i am sure you are able to buy one you can definitely spare the cost of running it, like slicks, and even accident damage
They modified a mercedes CLK GTR engine, to put in this baby, the clk gtr is already quite a monster

I’m speechless, it just takes your breath away!
