Lotus F1 to announce driver line-up early next week

As the Formula 1 circus heads to the 2010 season, some teams are still in the midst of confirming its driver line-up. One such team that is still leaving us playing guessing games is Lotus F1. At the moment we only know that Malaysia’s Fairuz Fauzy will become the team’s third driver, as mentioned by Mike Gascoyne the team’s technical chief. As far as the main drivers are concerned, paddock rumors suggest Jarno Trulli, Jacques Villeneuve and Kamui Kobayashi and my money is on the Japanese driver.

The team made its first ‘tweet’ on its official Twitter profile about 40 minutes ago and it reads: “Welcome to the official Lotus F1 Racing Twitter page. Watch this space for exciting updates, starting with a big one early next week!”. The only “big news” I can think of is the announcement of the team’s driver line-up. Lets just hope it really happens!
