Renault reveals the Twingo Gordini RS

As expected, Renault has officially unveiled the Twingo Gordini RS which marks the revival of the Gordini name. Unfortunately apart from styling upgrades, the Twingo Gordini RS has nothing else it can be proud of, meaning no work has been carried out under the skin meaning it produces 133hp from the 1.6 liter engine.

This models is based on the Twingo RS 133 and features traditional blue metallic finish with two white racing stripes. Certain sections of the bumpers are finished with gloss black. White finish can also be seen on the fog lamp surrounds, wing mirror housings as well as on the rear tailgate spoiler.

Other upgrades include 17-inch alloys, black and blue leather treatment for the sport seats, door panels, steering wheel and for the instrument panel. The Twingo Gordini RS also has automatic climate control, automatic wipers, cruise control, automatic headlights as well as an ESP system that can be deactivated.

It will make its public debut on January 10th at the Atelier Renault on the Champs-Elysées and sales are expected to initiate across Europe from March next year.
