Volkswagen’s Non-Stop Weekend Contest for the new Polo!
The Volkswagen Polo Mk V made its official appearance at this year’s Geneva Motor Show in March and about nine months later, the new Polo is going to be available right here in Singapore.
Prior to the official launch, Volkswagen has organized an online contest that runs from 12th November till 19th November. Via the contest, you can put yourself in the running to win a pair of Zoukout tickets by just submitting your very own non-stop 24-hour activity schedule. There will also be a second leg of the contest that runs between 20th November and 3rd December.
Interesting activities within your schedule may also be picked up by Volkswagen and will be used for a 30-hour non-stop rally with local lifestyle blogger Mr Brown (also known as Lee Kin Mun) behind the wheel of the Volkswagen Polo. The online contest is located on a purpose-built website at www.polo.sg.
To get started, click on the “create a route now!” link on the website and you can start organizing your activity schedule via an interactive map display which is pretty cool.
The rally will be flagged off at the Volkswagen Service Centre at Alexandra Road on 21st November at 10.00 am and will end the next day at 4.00 pm at the same location. Mr Brown will stop at up to 10 checkpoints.
At these stops, Mr Brown will give out Volkswagen Polo goodie bags, take pictures and more. You can also feast your eyes on the new Polo hatch. Stay tuned as we will bring you the latest regarding the new Polo following its unveiling.
