Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) to increase by a huge margin
Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) has announced that rates for the Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) will increase by between 50 and 100%. The change will take effect on Monday, November 2nd.
Between 8.00 and 8.30 am, the rate at the Ayer Rajah Expressway will be figured at S$1.00 instead of S$0.50. ERP rate for the eastbound ECP (Marina South) will be set at S$3 between 6.30 and 7.00 pm. The same will apply for the ERP gantry on the slip road from Ophir Road. The LTA will review the ERP prices again in November 2009.
