Jenson Button to join Lewis Hamilton in McLaren?

Now that the championship battle is over, its time to talk about who will go where next year. Newly-crowned World Champion Jenson Button is part of a secret plan of getting two British World Champions in a British team – according UK’s Daily Mail. Apparently McLaren’s title sponsor Vodafone is interested to see both Button and Hamilton race for the Woking-based team.

Button’s contract with Brawn GP is up for renewal this year and rumor has it that Brawn is unable to meet the Brit’s pay expectations. McLaren on the other hand is stronger financially. Former World Champion Kimi Raikkonen is also rumored to join Hamilton in McLaren as double World Champion Fernando Alonso has signed a three year deal with Ferrari.
